WHITEHAVEN Rugby League has announced the signing of Chris Taylor as the experienced centre returns for his third spell with the club.
Having initially signed ahead of the 2014 campaign Chris has made 182 Haven appearances across two spells scoring 50 tries and 1 drop goal amassing 201 points.
Chris was with Haven for his first season in 2014 before a move to Halifax ahead of the 2015 season but Taylor returned mid-way through that campaign and remained with the club until the end of the 2023 campaign.
Taylor made the move to Workington to link up with Anthony Murray last season but has returned to The Ortus Rec ahead of the 2025 League 1 campaign.
Head coach Anthony Murray said: "Chris will be a great signing for us especially having a deep connection to club playing 10 seasons.
"I have always been an admirer of Chris and even more so now having worked with him at Town last year.
"Chris will bring a wealth of experience but also his professional attitude and work ethic will help our young squad and I’m sure he will have a great season."
