WHITEHAVEN Rugby League has announced the signing of Aaron Turnbull from National Conference League side Egremont Rangers.
Turnbull (23) has played at both Rangers and Hensingham in his time at the national conference level. He played a major part in the 2023 promotion campaign, scoring 13 tries in 19 appearances.
Turnbull has also represented his country at the community lions level with several new signings ahead of the 2025 season scoring against Wales Dragonhearts in 2022 and Ireland A in 2023.
Discussing the utility forward's signing, Whitehaven head coach Anthony Murray said, "I am really pleased Aaron has decided to take up his first opportunity to play professionally with us at Whitehaven.
"Aaron is a versatile forward who can play in the back row or middle. He has been a stand-out in the community game and gained international recognition playing for the England Lions so I'm delighted another player of that calibre has decided to join us."
Whitehaven RL has said that everyone at the club would like to thank Egremont Rangers ARLFC for supporting Aaron's transition to the professional game.
Aaron will be sponsored by Hollie, Emmie, Hallie, and Jacob (in memory of Cath Weir).
