Seascale Tennis Club has officially kicked off their preparations for this year's Wimbledon
On Saturday, the club hosted their annual BBQ and tennis tournament for the Rosemary Hutt Memorial Trophy.
Despite challenging weather conditions, which gradually improved as they day went on, 25 members attended with eight pairs vying for the trophy.
The format was a round robin of four games in every match
Andy Lloyd and Rebecca Smith stood victorious, besting the runner-ups, Ian Bolland and Mary Smallwood, by six games.
The club's social sessions are held throughout the year on Wednesday and Sunday mornings, and Monday evenings during summer.
Junior coaching sessions under a Level 2 LTA coach take place on Sunday afternoons.
New members are always welcome to join Seascale Tennis Club.
