A YOUTH boxing gym in Whitehaven will participate in a national competition.
R.F.N Fitness and Wellbeing Centre, based in the marketplace, caters to children and young people teaching skills in boxing and MMA.
The centre's members will be participating in the King of the Hill No 4 competition which involves fighters from across the country.
Kevin O' Fee, the owner of the club, said: "We have a boxing event on May 26 where all our lads will be showcasing their skills with clubs from all over the UK.
"Mainly lads from Unit 13 boxing will be involved and it will be our fourth home event.
"I will be fighting for a world title on the night, we have a Waba world title coming to Whitehaven. The match card is Kevin O'Fee vs. Jamie Paton from Wales."
