Anglers returned to the coast for the latest fiercely-contested competition.
Parton Sea Angling Club's contest was held on Saturday.
The rover competition was fished between Drigg estuary and the north end of Maryport promenade, up to high water in a north east wind.
First with the heaviest fish of the day, a flounder weighing 1lb1 1/2oz, was Ron Nicholson Sr.
The second heaviest fish caught was a 14oz plaice reeled in by Darren Holiday.
