The White Horse Sea Angling Club's latest match was fished from Seascale slipway to Harrington pier, up to high water in a south-westerly wind.
First was C Schofield, a junior angler, who also grabbed the heaviest fish with a 10lb conger eel.
The young competitor's bag also included three thornback rays and a trio of dogfish for 36lb1oz, A Hartley was second with three dogfish and a whiting for 5lb2oz and third was J Murray, whose three dogfish and a whiting added up to 4lb12oz.
And fourth was T Tew, with three dogfish and a whiting for 4lb9oz.
The next match this Sunday is on the north and west piers from 9am to 1pm.
A one-hour walk-on time is in place, with weigh-in at the north shore car park.
