Whitehaven Sharks travelled to Cockermouth on Sunday morning to show off their skills in a local festival.
The Sharks made the trip following the first team’s home match on Saturday.
Three age groups including under-10s, nines and two under-7 squads braved the cold and wind to put on a fantastic show for parents and supporters.
The Sharks’ under-7s played against a talented and spirited mix of under sevens and eights from Cockermouth in a series of three matches.
The Sharks were a little rusty at first after the Christmas break but soon got into their stride playing some great rugby with lots of passing, side stepping and the occasional dummy.
All the teams played entertaining rugby throughout the morning with lots of tries being scored in some end-to-end games.
The Sharks squad did themselves, their parents and the coaches proud whilst missing a number of key players through holidays and other commitments.
