An adorable kitten, currently in the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria, is now ready to find her forever home.

The little cat shares her name with the young orphan at the centre of the popular musical, Annie.

This adorable black and white kitten is described as a very sweet girl who loves to be with people.

Sadly, the eight-week-old kitten came into the care of Animal Rescue Cumbria after being found by the road.

The team at the rescue centre said: “After a rough start in life, Annie is looking for a home with lots of love and cuddles to give.”

Annie could live with other cats in the home and would also be able to go to a family with older children.

Animal Rescue Cumbria and The Wainwright Shelter take in, rehabilitate and rehome 350 cats and dogs every year. Once their cats are ready to find a new family, they can be advertised for adoption.
