The new owners of a historic pub in Millom have been left 'disappointed' after its grand reopening was delayed.
In October The Plough Inn at Holburn Hill went up for auction, with it then revealed earlier this month that a team had come in to bring it back to its 'former glory'.
However, on Tuesday (November 26), the owners shared that the opening would have to be delayed, with more details to be announced soon.
They said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we have had to delay the reopening of the The Plough Inn.
"We are thankful for all the support so far and are very disappointed with the delay.
"We hope the support will continue and we can bring The Plough Inn back to its formal glory as it deserves in and for the community."
