Four playful pooches, currently in the care of Eden Animal Rescue, are ready for rehoming.

These beautiful dogs are ready to find their forever families…

Jill is a five-year-old Collie dog.

Jill  (Image: Eden Animal Rescue) She is described as an ‘absolute little sweetheart’ who is very friendly, nice natured and likes to play.

Jill was handed into the shelter as a failed working dog, although she shows an interest in sheep, she was not doing as she was told.

She is house trained, good with other dogs and would like a secure garden to have a run around in.

Jill hasn’t spent time around children before and can be nervous around men to begin with.

Thor is a two-year-old American Bulldog Cross.

Thor  (Image: Eden Animal Rescue) He is described as a friendly fellow who is always happy to meet people and is looking for an adult only home where he will be the only pet.

The shelter said: “He is a boisterous young dog and sometimes doesn’t know his own strength, he will need an owner experienced with training and handling large breed dogs. He is very food orientated which always helps!”

Mischa is a two-year-old Presa Canario and Staffy Cross.

Mischa (Image: Eden Animal Rescue) She is described as an ‘extremely affectionate’ dog who will make a fantastic companion.

Eden Animal Rescue said: “Mischa originally came into our care because of her separation anxiety. She gets very attached to her owners and panics when left. She will need a home where there is someone around all the time initially and she will have to be built up to being left on her own very gradually.”

Misty is a 22-month-old Collie Cross.

Misty  (Image: Eden Animal Rescue) She didn’t make it as a working dog but is house trained and has spent time around a variety of people.

The shelter said Misty loves food and has been known to steal food left out on a table or an open cupboard.

She is looking for a home as a family pet, where she will be walked, socialised and could pick up an activity such as Obedience.

Misty also likes to chase animals, such as birds, rabbits and sheep so needs to be walked on a lead.
