Christmas lights switch-on events are set to illuminate towns across Cumbria this festive season.

As the weather cools and the nights draw in, communities are gearing up to herald the holiday season with cheer, merriment, and, of course, twinkling lights.

Across the county, each town will be hosting its unique celebration, with many of these events easily accessible by bus.

To encourage collective festivities, Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire group bus tickets are being offered, allowing friends and family to travel together at a discounted fare.

The excitement doesn’t end there, as from now until December 31, passengers can travel on almost any bus in England for just £2.
