A DISPERSAL order was put in place in west Cumbria this weekend.
The order was put in place on Saturday, October 12, lasting until 1am on Sunday, October 13.
This was because of antisocial behaviour occurring in the Egremont area.
The incidents involved youths throwing mud bombs at houses and cars.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Drivers are reporting youths throwing mud bombs at passing vehicles, one of which has sustained damage.
"We have also had an incident of a pensioner bungalow in the area being targeted with the same behaviour causing damage to a window.
"Patrols have attended the location to deter further ASB and we are looking to proceed with a dispersal order for any youths located in the area.
"Egremont Council has been given Crime Prevention Advice for the grounds to be given more illumination in order to promote a bright and welcoming environment together with greatly reducing the opportunity of ASB or criminality."
