LOCAL entrepreneur Amy Wright has organised a Halloween musical event in Whitehaven.
Amy is the founder of AW Promotions and has teamed up with Mob Tour Bookings to host the event at the Twisted Tongue nightclub.
She said: "The headline band Chasing Dreams is an alternative rock band from Germany.
"Their sound is characterised by a mixture of melodic and hard guitar riffs along with the versatile vocals of singer Kim Weisweg.
"Their song lyrics are primarily about topics such as dealing with addiction, depression, fears, and the failure of relationships.
"Their latest EP 'Time won't tear us apart' is out now.
"Support will be from the melodic post-hardcore band Bother along with Arguer alt-rock and emo mood swings. They are an original band from Cumbria.
"Arguer are on the rise, which is clear to hear in their latest single 'Spiral.' The Cumbrian band has caught the attention of BBC Introducing with Gemma Bradley, BBC Introducing Northwest, and Ready to Mosh Podcast, along with local festival organisers.
"This is Whitehaven's chance to have the best Halloween party to date, enjoying original music from emerging bands."
