WHITEHAVEN Town Council has released details on upcoming Christmas events.
The council will be hosting a Christmas Light Switch On and then Christmas Markets followed by a fireworks display.
A Whitehaven Town Council spokesperson said: "Our ever-popular switch-on event is on Saturday, November 16, and includes live music, and a fabulous simulator.
"There's also a TEG Market on King Street and the brand new event Eat Street Cumbria near the bus station.
"Our Christmas Traders Market in St Nicholas Gardens runs from 10am until 4pm on Friday, December 6.
"The annual fireworks display on Whitehaven Harbour starts at 5.15pm. There will be free glow sticks for children whilst stocks last."
