A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of robbery in West Cumbria.
The incident occurred on September 30, in the Whitehaven area.
Officers were alerted whilst on patrol in Hensingham, with the incident occurring in the town centre.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "PC 2503 and PC 3157 were on patrol in Hensingham when a blue light call came in for a robbery on Coach Road, Whitehaven.
"The officers were rapid to respond and had the suspect arrested in 1938 on suspicion of robbery.
"With assistance from our response policing team; the officers then attended the suspect's home address where his mother kindly allowed us entry to search for the stolen items.
"A TV has been seized as part of the investigation and the stolen bike was found near his home."
