Cumbria Police are encouraging residents to report incidents to local neighbourhood policing teams to help fix local issues.
Copeland Police attended after residents of St Bees raised concerns around vehicles illegally parking around entrances to the primary school ground.
On attending the scene, officers found a car parked causing an ‘unnecessary obstruction’ and was subsequently reprimanded.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “PC 2857 Mackintosh and PC 2503 Pickering-Smith attended, and a vehicle was given a ticket for causing an unnecessary obstruction.
“Please keep reporting incidents to the neighbourhood policing team by calling 101 or visiting the Cumbria Police website.”
