A HOLISTIC festival that has raised more than £15,000 for charity is set to return.

The Autumn Holistic Mind, Body, and Spirit Festival will be returning on Sunday, October 6, between 10am and 4pm, at The Ennerdale Country House Hotel.

The event will feature more than 45 holistic exhibitor stands, talks, and workshops.

The exhibitors will offer a wide range of treatments and services, including reflexology, meditation, aromatherapy, facials, reiki healing, yoga, and much more.

The event was first launched by Emma-Louise Summerfield in 2018 and has since raised more than £15,000 for Cash for Kids.

The local jewellery designer and author from Moon Dream Jewellery & World of Celestria, Cleator, was inspired to start her own holistic events, under the banner Sacred Haven, in West Cumbria after attending similar events in Scotland, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Cheshire.

"I am delighted to bring the opportunity of experiencing the wonderful benefits of holistic therapies and approaches to our community, which address the whole person, including their physical, mental and emotional health," Emma-Louise said.

"I feel it is absolutely key in our modern-day demanding, stressful lifestyles, especially more than ever from the recent and ongoing traumatic and devastating effects of the pandemic and current world issues.

"At our event, I feel privileged to be providing a great networking platform for holistic and spiritual businesses in our local area, whilst helping our amazing local charity Cash For Kids, which helps disadvantaged, poorly and disabled children right here in our local community, Cumbria and southwest Scotland, with proceeds from our £5 entry fee and fantastic prize raffle on the day."

She also revealed plans to host more holistic events at the same venue in 2025.
