A LEADING accountancy firm has announced it will open new offices in Whitehaven town centre.

robinson+co announced on social media that its new Whitehaven offices will be in the old Pack Horse pub at 28 Lowther Street.

Following the closure of the Natwest Bank on Lowther Street last year, robinson+co was required to move as its offices were situated directly above the bank. The building is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment for the change of use.

Peter Ellwood, managing partner at robinson+co, said: "Over the last year, we’ve worked hard to find a suitable and effective replacement for our previous offices in Whitehaven, where we were based at for over 50 years.

"We are delighted to be back in the centre of Whitehaven to serve our clients in the local area again.

"We would like to thank our clients affected by our temporary office closure for their patience while we secured our new offices, and we can’t wait to welcome clients, family and friends of the firm to the modern space.”

The firm currently has offices in Workington and Gosforth, and its new offices are designed to offer a modern and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
