Cumbria Police have shared an urgent appeal to find a missing man from North Yorkshire.

They shared an appeal from North Yorkshire Police, who believe he may have travelled to Bowness in the Lake District.

Have you seen missing Brian Cooke from North Yorkshire? 

There is an urgent appeal to find missing Brian Cooke, 64, from Eggborough near Selby who may have travelled to the Lake District.

Brian uses a disability scooter having lost a leg, and is described as slim, around 5ft 9in, with grey hair, facial stubble and tattooed names on his arm.

He was last seen at around 1pm on Wednesday August 7 when he left his home in his grey Volkswagen Caddy van that is adapted for his disability, but his family have not heard from him since.

We believe he has travelled to the Bowness-on-Windermere area of Cumbria but he may have since travelled further afield.

If you have seen Brian or his grey van, please contact the police straight away.
