A vehicle was seized by officers during the operation for having no valid tax.
Officers from various divisions teamed up to tackle traffic offences in the Egremont area.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Officers from Cumbria Constabulary Nuclear Estates Team (CCNET), Roads Policing Unit and Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) conducted a joint road traffic operation at Egremont this morning.
"The aim was to check vehicles for any document offences, as well as vehicle defaults and offences.
"Over the period of two hours numerous offences were noted, including a vehicle having no valid tax and it was seized for this. We also gave advice on tyres and showed people how to ensure they were road legal.
"We work together with CNC on a regular basis to help build better working relationships, for stakeholder engagements, and to keep everyone on the roads safe around West Cumbria."
