THERE will be a series of fitness sessions held in Egremont this July.

Egremont Town Council is promoting the sessions which will take place in different venues across the area.

They will take place every Wednesday throughout the month and are open to people of all abilities.

In a post on social media, Egremont Town Council wrote: "We're excited to invite you to our July Happy Healthy Neighbours community engagement programme, brought to you by iCan Wellbeing Group CIO in Mid-Copeland.

"Whether you're looking for gentle chair-based exercises or a more intense workout, we've got something for everyone."

At Thornhill Mission Church the session will run from 10.30am until 11.30am and will involve a gentle chair-based exercise followed by a chat with tea and coffee.

The same session will then take place at Gosforth Library Link between 1.30pm and 3pm.

These exercises are said to be perfect for low-intensity, full-body mobility and strength exercises.

Later in the day, there will be a session at Gosforth Public Hall between 7pm and 8.30pm. This involves an intense Bellicon UK Fitness and Strength-Based Exercise with soft drinks and chat.

To book, people are asked to contact midcopeland@icanwellbeing.co.uk to reserve a spot.
