CUMBRIA Police have confirmed a man has returned home after a plea from family in the search for the Penrith man.
Darren Douthwaite, 37, from Penrith had not been seen or contacted since Wednesday June 19 at 5:50pm. Darren was last seen in the Tebay area, but has close links to Kirby Thore.
Cumbria Police said: "Police can confirm a 37-year-old man who was reported as missing from the Penrith area on 19 June has been found safe and well.
"Thank you to those who shared the appeal and assisted with the search."
Darren’s daughter said: “Dad I love you best and you love me more. You are so loved”.
