WHITEHAVEN Sea Cadets welcomed the Lakeland district officer to their centre.
Lt Cdr (SCC) Ted Creighton was invited to the unit for a presentation night.
Following the presentation event Mr Creighton spoke with some of the cadets to hear about their ambitions.
In a post on social media, Whitehaven Sea Cadets wrote: "We were delighted to welcome our Lakeland District Officer down to the unit to make some presentations last night
"Lt Cdr (SCC) Ted Creighton RNR presented OC Blake with his new rank badge and Epaulettes after being promoted from Cadet 1st class to Ordinary Cadet.
"He also spent time with the cadets, finding out about what they have been up to lately and their aims over the next few months."
