Pet friendly café in Whitehaven enjoys successful opening

Enjoy Coffee opened on King Street on May 6. The café was opened by husband and wife duo, Remzie Marinova and Todor Martinov. The pair were born in Bulgaria and moved to Whitehaven with their son 6 years ago.

Remzie and Todor, who worked as delivery drivers, wanted to open their own business and decided to open, Enjoy Coffee, in the previously vacant King Street property. The café underwent a 6 month renovation where the shop was decorated to its current standard.

The premises was previously occupied by PFK estate agents, and prior to that BlockBuster, before the couple took over and added their own touch to their business.

The pair both work at the café and employ another member of staff.

Remzie said: "Our menu includes hot and cold drinks, hot and cold sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes and desserts."

It was important to the husband and wife that their café allowed pets to enter as well, Remzie said: "Our business is pet friendly, our customers can enter with their animals."

Enjoy Coffee is open Monday to Saturday from 9 till 3. Remzie said: "Our intentions is to provide people with a clean and friendly service, all of our products are fresh and prepared daily."

The café also provide delivery service through FoodHub.

Remzie said: "We would like to thank our customers who have supported us since the opening, we are still very new in this business and we may make mistakes, but we are trying to improve ourselves every day.

"We are trying to make the café better each day."
