A PUB in Cumberland has been handed a new food hygiene rating.
The Crown, at Bowthorn Road, Cleator Moor, Cumbria was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 16.
The hygienic handling of food including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling, and storage was found to be Good.
The cleanliness and condition of the facilities and building were found to be Good.
The management of food safety was also found to be good.
It means that of Cumberland's 321 pubs, bars, and nightclubs with ratings, 252 (79%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
