A WHITEHAVEN café has been announced as the new sponsor for a local cricket club.
Abby's Café has been announced at the new sponsor for Egremont Cricket Club.
The news was announced via social media in a post reading: "Egremont Cricket Club are delighted to announce a new sponsorship from Abby's Café, they have kindly agreed to become the new main sponsor for our playing wear."
The cricket team will now sport the Abby's Café logo on the front of their new kit.
The season opener was played on April 27 at Gillfoot Park against Workington's first team, where Egremont were ultimately beaten.
The club's second team played Ulverston where they won the match.
Abby’s Café, which is located on King Street, opened in 2022.
