CUMBRIA Police have been monitoring speeding in parts of Egremont.
Residents had become concerned about speeding at Croadella Avenue and Park View.
Officers have been on the estate monitoring the speeds at which drivers are traveling.
A spokesperson said: "There have been concerns from local residents regarding traffic speeds along this route and risks to children out playing. Please drive safely and be mindful of children.
"The speed limit is 30mph. We will be carrying out speed enforcement in the area."
