THREE youths have been arrested in relation to shoplifting incidents.
The incidents occurred in the Whitehaven area, several properties have been searched.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "This evening PC2249 and PC1932 arrested three youths in relation to shoplifting incidents in Whitehaven.
"Properties have been searched and the suspects will be dealt with accordingly for the offences.
"We take incidents of shoplifting seriously and work closely with all our retail partners to take positive action on anyone involved in shop-related thefts."
