POLICE officers have received reports of sheep worrying.
Cumbria Police have been responding to reports of sheep worrying in the Millom area.
A spokesperson said: "Officers from the Millom Neighbourhood Team have received reports of sheep worrying around the area of Millom.
"Sheep worrying is an offence. Dog owners must remember to keep their dogs under control and on a lead when around any livestock.
"The stress alone can kill an animal and farmers depend on this income, especially coming up to the lambing season.
"Remember your dog is your responsibility."
