A MAN has been fined for being drunk in a public place on two occasions.
Gordon Lowe, 47, did not attend Workington Magistrates’ Court to face two charges of being drunk in a public place but the case was proved in his absence.
The offences took place in Lowther Street in Whitehaven on August 9 and August 14.
Lowe, of Jefferson Park, Whitehaven, was fined £180. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £72 victim surcharge.
