CUMBRIA Police are continuing to tackle speeding in West Cumbria.
Officers were on the streets in the Whitehaven area monitoring the speed of vehicles on the Loop Road and advising the public on safer driving.
A spokesperson said: "Copeland Neighbourhood Policing Team have been up on Loop Road, Whitehaven, carrying out speed and document checks as this has been an area that the public has raised concerns.
"We are reminding road users to make sure their vehicle is roadworthy before undertaking their journey.
"We are pleased to report that vehicles stopped today were road legal and we will keep to target areas the public raised concerns over."
