DRIVERS in and around Copeland will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that both of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week: A595, from 8am November 20 2023 to 5pm February 16, 2024, with slight delays (under 10 minutes): A595 northbound, Howgate Roundabout to Tollbar Roundabout, TM TBC for Renewing Moresby Weather Station.

A595, from 8am January 30 to 5pm February 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A595 eastbound and westbound, Blackbeck Roundabout to Nursery Lane junction, traffic signals for Upgrading of the Calderbridge ESS.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
