A CUMBRIAN charity has thanked a musician for his continued support.
Hospice at Home West Cumbria has thanked Ged Hagan for raising thousands for them for charity.
Over the past three years, Ged has been performing music gigs helping to gain considerable support for the cause.
Mr Hagan said: "I've been amazed at the efforts of so many West Cumbrians selflessly raising money for local charities, which has inspired me, and I thought about how much I enjoy singing and playing guitar.
"Originally, I only intended to play at local charity fundraising events but soon I was being asked to play paid gigs in pubs, clubs, and bars so I decided that would be a good way of fundraising and I get to do what I love, the venues get what they need and the charity gets a few bob too - everyone's a winner.”
A spokesperson from Hospice at Home West Cumbria added: "We would like to say a huge thank you to Ged Hagan from Cleator Moor who has raised over £24,000 since he started gigging in July 2021."
