CUMBRIA Police are providing information to the public about staying safe online.
In February it is Internet Safe Day and officers will be in Whitehaven offering details to the public about cyber safety.
Parents are advised to come along to the session in the town's library as it will help them to guide their children on how to use the internet safely.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "As part of Internet Safety Day 2024, PC McCulla and PCSO Fishpool will be at Whitehaven Library on Tuesday, February 6, between 12.30pm and 2.30pm to offer advice on how to stay safe online.
"This will hopefully be useful to parents who have maybe bought their children their first tablet, or phone for Christmas. We hope to see you there."
