West Cumbrian charity, Bee Unique, has thanked those who have made heartfelt donations to the charity recently.
The charity published 'appreciation posts' across its social media accounts for the generous people who helped.
Anthony Fitzsimons had some bikes donated to him by West Lakes Adventure and in his spare time he revitalised the bikes, with the profits received from selling the bikes being donated to the charity. In total, Anthony gave £410 for Bee Unique.
The charity said: "It is with kindness like this, Bee Unique are able to continue to do what we do.
"The charity is run completely voluntarily without any expenses taken, something which we are so proud of as every single penny goes straight in to the pot to organise as many activities as possible for SEN Families."
Mother and daughter duo, Suzanne and Jorja Nicholls were busy over Christmas making hampers which were sold as gifts. A percentage of the profit went towards the charity.
£92 was donated to the charity alongside donated hampers and tombola prizes for Bee Unique's upcoming events.
The charity said: "Thank you so much to the Nicholls family for your continued support - we really appreciate it. You are a beautiful family inside and out.”
Bee Unique runs the charity completely voluntarily without any expenses taken, something which co-founders Nadia Shaw, Dave Parsons, and Natalie and Martin McCarron say they are really proud of.
They manage dedicating and donating their free time to the charity, around looking after their own SEN children and job positions. The co-founders said: "We want to help and support as many SEN families as possible. Over 2,000 activities were organised in 2023 supporting over 15,650 individuals.
“We thank all our wonderful selfless reps and volunteers who dedicate and donate their free time to help us. We could not run Bee Unique without them."
"We thank all our kind fundraisers for choosing Bee Unique to raise funds for, every single penny goes into the charity - we do rely heavily on kind donations to do what we do. If you would like to fundraise or donate to the charity, please email beeuniquecharity@gmail.com.”
