A COMMUNITY venue will begin looking for contributions to their art exhibition this month.
The Gather in Ennerdale is looking for people to create artwork inspired by the Sycamore Gap tree.
The nationally renowned tree, located on the Hadrian's Wall route was heavily vandalised by being illegally cut down.
Staff at The Gather want people to create artwork that was inspired by the incident.
June Pearson, a volunteer at The Gather, said: "Any art forms are welcome, all mediums such as fabric, photography, quilting, or sculptures can be used.
"We want to fill the exhibition room with all the art contributions.
"We're starting to put in place a programme of events for that which should begin in around six weeks with interesting guest speakers."
