POLICE in the Millom area are tackling poor parking around schools.
Officers will be out on patrol in the area issuing warnings to drivers.
A spokesperson said: "After a number of complaints received regarding the manner of parking and driving around local Millom and Haverigg schools.
"PC2736 will be out on foot around the Millom/Haverigg area and will be issuing parking warning notices.
"We understand that parking spaces can be limited however these restrictions are in place to keep everyone safe. Please be mindful of where you are parking."
