ORGANISERS will be introducing 'Mother Christmas' to this year's Egremont Christmas Wonderland event.
Every year, children get the chance to meet 'Father Christmas' in the grotto area and this year he will be joined by 'Mother Christmas.'
The event will take place on November 25 and 26 in Egremont Market Hall from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
There will be over forty stalls of craft and food, people can also enjoy Christmas carols, mulled wine, bespoke gifts, and performances from local choirs.
A spokesperson said: "Oh we are so excited. We have just heard from Father Christmas telling us that every year when he comes to Egremont he goes back home and tells Mother Christmas about how brilliant the children are and how lovely the grotto is, and that Mother Christmas was so excited when she heard this that this year she is coming as well as Father Christmas.
"This will be the only grotto where you can meet Father and Mother Christmas, so come along next Saturday or Sunday, or indeed both days."
