Police in the Copeland area are continuing to deal with youths who are throwing eggs.
This antisocial behaviour has been going on for some days now and Cumbria Police say it 'will not be tolerated.'
A spokesperson said: "Over the last few nights police have been dealing with incidents involving youths throwing eggs.
"This antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.
"Can we remind local shops and parents to be aware of this issue and challenge any purchases that may be linked to ASB.
"It goes without saying this behaviour is not only disrespectful but can constitute offences that we will investigate and prosecute where necessary."
