A WOMAN will face a crown court trial over allegedly keeping a New Look parcel that was delivered to her address in error.
Zoe Martin, 49, of Mariners Way, Whitehaven, is accused of stealing various items of clothing worth £153.18.
She denied theft by finding and a postal services offence of opening an incorrectly delivered postal packet when she appeared before Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
It is alleged that Martin opened the New Look parcel which had been incorrectly delivered and stole the items of clothing on April 3.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 27. Martin was granted unconditional bail.
