The Wave structure in Whitehaven has been lit up this week.
The iconic structure is based on the harbourside and in recent months has been lit up once again.
This was in support of National Care Leavers' Week which runs from October 26 until November 1.
A spokesperson from the Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners said: "We're delighted to have The Wave light blue in support of National Care Leavers' Week.
"This special week, which runs from October 25 to November 1, is an opportunity to shine a light on the achievements of our county’s young people who have experienced care and are moving into adulthood – and the support our local communities can offer to help them reach their potential."
This gesture shows support for those young people who have received care throughout their lives.
