CUMBRIA Police officers have been increasing patrols following a spate of antisocial behaviour in the Cleator Moor area.
Two officers were out on foot patrol over the weekend engaging with members of the public.
The patrols are taking place due to a spike in antisocial behaviour and they have also been offering reassurance to those who have been the victim of crime.
A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Today the local Cleator Moor officers PC Sarah and PCSO Hollie have been out and about on foot patrol which enables us to get to speak to lots of members of the public.
"We also carried out further enquiries in relation to the spike in ASB in the area and provided updates to victims of Crime and ASB.
"Our aim is to keep providing reassurance and to make people aware that reckless acts to disrupt members of the public day to day will not be tolerated."
