A LUXURY scented candle producer has teamed up with a mountain rescue team to launch its second advent calendar.
Lakeland Lights Company, a family-run business in Cleator Moor, has released a limited-edition wax melt advent calendar, ‘Lakeland Lights Co Advent Calendar Volume II Search and Rescue - The Quest to Find our Newest Scent.’
Following the success of Volume I last year, the advent calendar returns with 24 bespoke soy wax melts from the company’s renowned ranges.
Notably, each calendar features a 'specially curated' journey through Cumbrian and new Welsh scents, with search and rescue-themed graphics.
Five customers will also discover hidden golden wax melts in their calendars, winning a unique candle-making workshop experience for themselves and three friends, a tour of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team HQ, and a hamper full of Lakeland Lights Company goodies.
James Long, co-founder of Lakeland Lights Company, said: "We are extremely proud to continue supporting our local community, especially the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team, who have experienced record levels of rescue call-outs this year.”
Jo Iles, another key member of the family team, added: "After last year's popularity, we wanted to offer something even bigger that gives back.
"We're thrilled to provide our customers with a way to enjoy our scents while contributing to a worthy cause."
£1 from each sale will be donated to the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. On Christmas Eve, customers will be treated to a new scent, a preview of what's to come from Lakeland Lights Company in 2024.
Since its establishment in 2019, Lakeland Lights Company has rapidly grown its presence, with over 50 stockists in Cumbria and four in North Wales.
This advent calendar is the latest project aiming to maximise the brand's social impact. Customers are encouraged to purchase early to avoid disappointment and to join Lakeland Lights Company on their mission to support local causes.
