Early next month Cafe West will be closed for maintenance work.
The popular cafe located on King Street in Whitehaven will be closed from Monday, October 2 until Monday, October 9.
A spokesperson from Cafe West said: "This is due to decoration and maintenance work. Sorry for the disruption we look forward to seeing you all again when we re-open."
Cafe West which is part of the West House team helps to provide 'invaluable' work experience and training opportunities for young people and adults with learning disabilities.
The cafe has run for a number of years in the Whitehaven town centre and has proved popular with residents of Whitehaven and visitors to the town. They also have cafes in Workington and Keswick.
A spokesperson said on their website: "We offer a range of home-cooked food made fresh onsite every day by our trainees using the finest, locally sourced ingredients.
"Menus will vary across our cafés, but you will find our bestselling favourites at each of them including the West House scone, assorted cakes, and hearty, warming soups."
