Cumbria's Marathon Man, Gary McKee, teamed up with a dedicated London charity fundraiser attempting to break the world record.
Aaron Robinson, in the midst of his daily pre-work marathon in East London, welcomed Gary for his 276th run of the year.
He is attempting, accompanied by his two border collies, to break the world record for running a marathon every day, for as many consecutive days as possible.
Cumbria's Marathon Man, Gary said: “I enjoyed the marathon with Aaron on Tuesday morning, it was lovely to get one last marathon in with a fellow fundraiser before I head off to the US for the Grand 2 Grand challenge.
“Aaron’s efforts are motivating and inspiring. I was introduced to him via a mutual friend, Shree, and I’m glad we have connected.
"I wish him all the best as he looks ahead to many more early morning marathons.”
Rising before the sun at 5am, the pair pounded the pavement.
His goal is to raise funds for Hope For Justice, an organisation dedicated to ending modern slavery and human trafficking.
He's already surpassed £10k.
Aaron said: "It was great to run with Gary and swap stories from our marathons so far.
"I tried to introduce him to a few hills on our run, but there wasn’t anything Gary hadn't seen before living in Cumbria.
“As impressive as Gary’s achievements have been, I’m most impressed not by what he’s done, but how he’s inspired his family, his whole community and everyone around him to succeed too. I feel more inspired.
“The reason I’m running is because I’m passionate about supporting victims of human trafficking and modern slavery.
"It’s crazy that there are over 50 million people living in modern slavery today, including the UK.
"I can easily stop running, but they can’t easily run away from exploitation, including sex trafficking."
Gary himself raised over £1million last year by running a marathon daily for his chosen charities.
