This week our Trader of the Week is the Whitehaven Rugby League Supporters Club.
The club is located on Lowther Street in Whitehaven and is popular amongst rugby enthusiasts and the general community alike.
The club has been running for over 30 years and offers a range of entertainment throughout the week to keep the punters coming back for more.
Linda Riley, a stewardess at the club, said: "The club is open 7 days a week for 12 hours a day, apart from Tuesday and Wednesday when it closes at 3pm.
"We offer entertainment and do bingo three nights a week on Monday, Thursday, and Friday which starts at 8.30 pm.
"Every Saturday we have live music which will either be a band, singer or a duo and that starts at 8pm.
"There's a games room upstairs where we have a pool table, darts board, and a lounge.
"The club has been open for well over thirty years and has proved very popular in this time, it was open well before I came involved.
"On Saturday we get a lot of customers coming through the doors and during the week we get all our regulars in, what we're interested in now is getting more people in.
"We're like everywhere else, since lockdown, we haven't been able to get back to where we were before.
"We're not actively involved with the rugby league club on the grounds itself at The LEL Arena, that's completely separate."
The club itself consists of a bar area with a large function room and also a small stage area where musicians will perform on weekends.
Being located on Lowther Street the club can take full advantage of its prime position opposite the town's Solway Hall where numerous musical acts and theatrical shows are hosted.
It is also a stone's throw away from the main town centre where there are a number of clubs and neighbours the Lowther Club which also proves to be very popular with the locals of Whitehaven.
