Drivers in and around Copeland will have three National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week: A595, from 8 pm February 14 to 5 am September 30, with moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A595 northbound and southbound, Howgate Roundabout to Whitehaven, traffic signals and Weekend carriageway closures for reconstruction of carriageway.
And a further two closures will begin over the next two weeks: A595, from 7 pm August 7 to 5 am August 8, with slight delays (under 10 minutes): A595 northbound and southbound, Nursery Road to Calder Bridge, traffic signals and convoy working for Road markings and studs to be replaced.
A595, from 7 pm August 8 to 5 am August 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A595 northbound and southbound, West Lakes Science Park to Bigrigg, traffic signals and convoy working for Road studs to be replaced.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
