From coal mining heritage tours to building arty sandcastles - it is all happening at the Florence Art Centre this summer.
The heritage tours will give people the chance to discover what life was like at the Florence Pitcoal mine and its impact on the local community.
The arts centre, created in partnership with Egremont and Area Regeneration, will have something on nearly every single day of the summer holidays.
Children's activities will run every Friday. These are suitable tor two to 12 year olds and will include clay play, builting a den, txtiles and nature art.
There are at least eight adult workshops led by artists and dovering everything from card making to textiles and beach art.
The centre's two exhibitions include Mining in the Future, a reimagining of the Florence site in the future by Manchester School of Architect.
The second exhibirion, Haematite, has been the work of creative students from Lakes College.
