WITH two new exhibitions, play days and craft and art workshops, there is plenty to do at the Florence Art Centre this summer.
The exhibitions are Mining the Future, featuring the works of Manchester School of Architects reimagine the Flotence pit as it could be in the future.
The second exhibition, Haematite, is described as "a fantastically varied exhibition of final project work by creative students from Lakes College."
MADE at Florence Arts will see new workshops led by various artists demonstrating the wide range of artistic skills around Cumbria.
Every Friday during the summer holidays there will be active playdates. These are suitable for children aged two to 12, with a focus on younger children in the morning and older ones in the afternoon.
There are free films for children on Sunday afternoons and for adults on Friday afternoons. These will run until July 2.
