NATIONAL Highways have provided an update on the road works taking place on the A595 near Moresby.
The roadworks have been taking place over weekends and will be continuing for a number of weeks.
NH has confirmed that the work is progressing and is going to plan.
National Highways Project Manager Steve Mason said: “I am pleased to report that our work on the A595 Moresby scheme is progressing well and remains on schedule.
"The current phase involves several tasks, including installation of additional drainage, upgrading the route to cleaner LED lighting, improvements to Howgate roundabout, and a full carriageway reconstruction on part of the route.
"The final weekend closure is scheduled to take place in late July.
"We appreciate the continued support and patience of both the local community and road users during this phase of the improvement scheme.”
